Outdoor application

Good morning colleagues. I need help from any of you.
I am doing an outdoor application with 12 meters ball screw.
I will need to treat this ball screw in order to avoid corrosion.
I use to treat this material with Duralloy, but they can treat elements up 4.200mm.
Anybody know any treatment to give a proper solution?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi,
a very long Ball screw, sure it will be very expensive! For this kind of length may be an Ironcore Linear Motor could fit better and have less environment problem.

This is a vertical application with 50 TN payload. For this reason we need to use ball screw. Thanks a lot Mr. Piccinelli for your answer.

Jorge, that is a very long ball screw! Outside of TDC, the only other process' I can think of are Radant or INOX. I'm wondering if a rack and gear system might be a better option?

Dear Mr. Quinn, thank you very much for your answer.
Our first offer was a rack and pinion solution, but my customer had decided to use ball screw. We know that is not the best solution.
We are triying to made stainless steel ball screw, but is more expensive than steel ones, and load capacity 30% minor.
Could you tell me any company who use Radant in order to avoid corrosion?
Thanks a lot.

We used to use inorganic zinc for bad weather protection on flat steel. You might ask some suppliers if it would work for you.
