How is grid connected solar PV project development in India?

How is grid connected solar PV project development in India? Any arguments? What are drivers? How is NVVN's reverse bidding going on?

where are you from? what you want to know about solar projects? As far as Gujarat has concerned, solar plants of about 1235 MW has been approved. One 5 MW is already commisioned and we are getting power from it and many are in pipe line and under progress. Pl. contact me on my e mail id jdilip52@yahoo.com for further information.

@Abhishek Jain: thank you for your reply. I agree to your comment. I wanted to know more perspectives on reverse bidding..I am skeptic about the price discovered in this process..I am very cautious on how many project would actually reallize by the end of year..Such program has not worked elsewhere...UK NFFO is also an example..

Currently most of the developers have not ever finalised upon the basics - land allocation, ppa's etc. etc. set aside getting epc into the picture and getting projects going .... so it would be interesting few months to go till December, i expect India market's demand to pick up in the second half, if it does not then there needs to be a serious revision in policies
